Welcome to American History
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
My name is Beth Marshall and I will be teaching 10th grade and 11th grade U.S. History. The 10th grade course is organized chronologically beginning with the settling of the New World through the Industrial Revolution. The 11th grade course is also organized chronologically beginning with the Industrial Revolution to the present. Both classes will be on the semester "block" schedule. First semester students will take final exams in December. All students are required to take the final exam. We do not offer exemptions.
I look forward to working with your son/daughter this year/semester and hope to instill a love for our nation's history. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me at any time. Our website is here to keep you informed of upcoming projects, homework assignments, tests and general school information. Also, be sure to check out the Madison County High School website for school news.
Sincerely,
Beth Marshall
